Send a tribute:

Giving a tribute gift is a thoughtful way of celebrating a special occasion, honoring someone special, or remembering a loved one. The person or persons you designate will receive a card with notice of your contribution, without indicating the amount of the contribution. In addition, you will receive a written acknowledgement of your tax deductible gift.

Matching Gifts:

Many companies offer a matching gifts program. Does your company, or former employer, offer this option? If so, you may be able to double the value of your gift to SCWK. Check with your employer to request matching gift forms or information. This is really a great way to help the SCWK continue their valuable programs.

Planned Giving:

Planned Giving is a term used to describe gifts legally arranged during a donor’s lifetime that in most cases does not take effect until after the donor’s lifetime. It is a way for people from all walks of life to provide for the future of our community and for the generations to follow. Donors are strongly encouraged to talk with their attorneys and financial advisors before making a planned gift.

Annual Gift:

Our annual appeal is the “Giving Tree.” This special group of annual donors helps to sustain the important programs and services offered at our Shepherd’s Center. To recognize their generosity, donors’ names are inscribed on our Giving Tree plaque, unless otherwise requested. Gifts can begiven any time of the year. In 2008 we have received a matching gift from the Roland Quest Memorial Fund, a component fund of the Greater St. Louis Community Foundation. They will generously match the first $5000 we receive in Giving Tree gifts.

Levels of Giving:

$1 – $99 = Friends
$100 – $499 = Contributors
$500 – $999 = Supporters
$1,000 – $2,499 = Partners
$2,500 – $4,999 = Patrons
Greater than $5,000 = Benefactors
