Services

Community services – caring and inclusive.

At the Shepherd’s Center, our older adult neighbors want to stay active, independent and live in their favorite place: home. We help make this possible by offering services such as transportation to medical appointments, grocery delivery, leaf raking, minor home repairs and telephone companionship.

Resource Center

The hub of our organization and ambassadors of all that we do. Our trained volunteers offer our services and connect those in need with trusted professional agencies.

Transportation Service

When an older adult needs a ride to the doctor, dentist or therapy, our volunteer drivers get moving. For ride details, schedules and pre-ride requirements, contact us today. Service area applies, see link below for service area map.

Phone Pals

No one wants to be alone all the time. Volunteers become "pals" with telephone conversation once a day or once a week.

Handy Hands

Small home repairs are not a big deal for our skilled volunteers. Adults 55 and over (must own home) can get help with tasks ranging from minor plumbing to replacing a smoke detector battery. Service area applies, see link below for service area map.

Chores Galore

We recruit families, scouts and youth groups to provide our 55+ neighbors with yard cleaning. It gives them a clean start to the spring or fall. For dates and schedules, give us a call. Service area applies, see link below for service area map.
