Chef Wars Winner! Chris Morgan, Meramec Bluffs

Meramec Bluffs Chris MorganWinning Chefs!

Chef Chris Morgan from Meramec Bluffs won the high prize of best entree at last night’s Taste of Webster-Kirkwood: Chef Wars.  His winning dish was smoked duck confit with cotija cheese, adobo sauce and mango salsa.

Runner up for entree went to Frienship Village Sunset Hills for their smoked salmon.  Best dessert was also awarded to Friendship Village Sunset Hills for their red velvet fudge.  Runner up in the dessert category went to Laclede Groves for the delicious peach crunch genoise with raspberry coulis and chantelle cream.

Many thanks to all the participating chefs for providing an excellent meal.
